After electric cars, what more will it take for batteries to change the face of energy? – Benchmark quoted in The Economist print & online

Benchmark Mineral Intelligence has been quoted in an article written by The Economist titled:

“After electric cars, what more will it take for batteries to change the face of energy? No need for subsidies. Higher volumes and better chemistry are causing costs to plummet”

It looks at the rapid change across the battery supply chain from electric vehicles, to lithium ion cell costs and briefly at the chemistry and raw materials that are changing the face of energy landscape.

The article quotes Benchmark’s Managing Director, Simon Moores on lithium and cobalt prices and can be viewed here in the August section of our In the Media page.
